As a non-profit legal entity of public utility, the Technological Support Center for the Metalworking Industry (CATIM) has been contributing to the competitive advantage of the industry for almost four decades, focusing on quality and innovation. Currently, it has over 730 members, mostly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and annually supports around 3500 companies. The strategy of this Center for Technology and Innovation (CTI) is geared towards businesses and the creation of economic value. It is dedicated to the production, dissemination, and transmission of knowledge, fostering the development and integration of new processes, services, or products based on high-value scientific and technological knowledge, thereby contributing to the achievement of public policy objectives.
