The main objective of WATER-CoRe is to actively contribute to more resilient and sustainable communities through the improvement of water management and the reduction of the growing pressure on water resources. This will be achievable with innovative proposals to reduce consumption and wastewater, promote the energetic efficiency associated to sector’s infrastructures, including dams, water supply and drainage nets, pumping stations, among others, increase the sector’s resilience to climate change, promote risk minimization and improve water uses in highly populated regions from a circular economy perspective.
