Association CECOLAB – Collaborative Laboratory Towards Circular Economy is the main Portuguese cluster for the development of Circular Economy and is recognized as scientific and research infrastructure of national strategic interest for the coordination of the national network in Circular economy. CECOLAB is a part of the National Roadmap Infrastructures of National Strategic Interests – Order No. 4157/2019. Headquarter in Oliveira do Hospital, in the Centre region of Portugal, and founded in 2020 CECOLAB has in its origins the recognition process of the excellence seal awarded by the national initiative of the Ministry of Science, technology and Higher Education, CoLAB. CECOLAB aims to (1) socioeconomic support (2) transfer technological solutions and knowledge to market and (3) empowering & boost to transfer within a CIRCULAR ECONOMY with a high impact in the most important value chain: Forest, Agroindustry, Urban Waste, Water, Manufacture Industry, construction and Servitization.
