AquaValor is a Collaborative Laboratory focused on developing and transferring knowledge and technological solutions to value water as an essential resource to global sustainability and development. By counting with 13 integrated highly qualified collaborators, 8 of whom with a doctorate degree, from areas that go from Information, Communication and Electronic Technologies to Microbiology, Chemistry and Biomedical Sciences, aided by more than 20 highly qualified human resources provided by the CoLAB associates, AquaValor is now an extremely well equipped facility, with top-of-line equipment, such as a next-generation sequencing equipment (MiSeq™ System, Illumina®) and a state-of-the-art Orbitrap Exploris™120 (Thermo Scientific™) mass spectrometer, that has the man-power and expertise to easily incorporate innovation and be a valuable partner for local, regional and national development.
