Non-Business Entities of the R&D&I System
Type of Support and Geographic Coverage
Support for R&D Unit operations in a business context aimed at creating or strengthening the internal competencies and capacities of companies in R&D&I through structured units characterized by permanence and dedicated exclusively to R&D activities. These can be developed individually or in co-promotion between companies and/or with non-business entities of the R&D&I System based on effective collaboration and short- and medium-term strategic partnerships aligned with the priority domains of the Research and Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization (RIS3).
Eligible projects include activities aimed at the development of R&D Units in a business context, focusing on Micro, SMEs, and Small Mid Caps. The primary goal is the creation or strengthening of internal competencies and capacities within companies through the establishment of structures characterized by permanence and exclusively dedicated to R&D activities. Certification of R&D management systems is necessary.
This notice applies to the NUTS II region – Alentejo. The project location corresponds to the region where the investment will take place.
