INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY

The following industrial property applications are eligible for support:

National applications for patents, utility models, and designs or models submitted to the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI);

Applications for patents, utility models, and designs or models abroad through direct submission to the respective national administrations, whether or not claiming Portuguese priority;

Applications for European patents submitted to INPI (whether claiming priority from a Portuguese application or not) or, alternatively, to the European Patent Office, provided they claim priority from a Portuguese patent or utility model application;

International patent applications (PCT) submitted to INPI (whether claiming priority from a Portuguese application or not) or, alternatively, to the European Patent Office or the World Intellectual Property Organization, provided they claim priority from a Portuguese patent or utility model application;

Community design or model applications submitted to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
