R&D UNITS IN CO-PROMOTION
The “Research and Technological Development” Incentive System aims to stimulate business investment in R&D by supporting projects for the creation and promotion of “R&D Units in Co-Promotion.” These projects involve qualified human resources from various co-promoters, including non-business entities from the R&I System, forming a consortium led by an SME. The goal is to execute activities that strengthen companies’ internal R&D capabilities, focusing on technology transfer and knowledge sharing.
R&D Units in Co-Promotion aim to establish and promote collaborative R&D structures through strategic medium and long-term partnerships between different actors in the R&I system. The main objectives include cooperation in identifying challenges, jointly planning activities for developing new technologies, defining projects, conducting long-term technology foresight activities, carrying out feasibility studies, sharing resources and infrastructures, and the mobility and/or exchange of qualified human resources between companies or between companies and R&D organizations. These activities are based on shared action plans.
