ID SEAL
Issued by ANI, the ID Seal: Recognition of suitability for conducting Research and Development (R&D) activities, certifies the competence of an entity to perform R&D activities in specific fields and areas of expertise.
It serves as a strategic tool that allows your company to:
- Differentiate itself from competitors
- Establish new partnerships in R&D projects
- Access funding from R&D support funds.
TO OBTAIN THE SUITABILITY RECOGNITION
Before starting the application, you should consult the Suitability Recognition Guide and the Regulations. The request for Suitability Recognition is completed by filling out and submitting the form, which consists of two parts:
- Identification of the proposing entity;
- Identification of the fields of expertise in which the entity seeks to be recognized, accompanied by the following documents:
- Declarations issued by two entities from the National Scientific and Technological System (SCTN), duly signed by the Responsible of the SCTN entity, as per the template, supported by a technical opinion signed by an expert from the same entity, attached, justifying the requested fields/areas in accordance with ENEI
- Permanent Certificate;
- Model 22/Annual Report;
- Detailed description of the R&D activities according to the template;
- Response to the National Scientific and Technological Potential Survey (IPCTN) or, in the case of spinoffs and academic, scientific, and technological startups, not yet covered by the IPCTN, a Declaration from the ROC/CC accompanied by the reasoned declaration from the originating entity, incubator, or interface center;
- Organizational chart, highlighting employees with a labor contract with the entity who perform R&D activities, as well as documents proving the employment relationship, namely, the respective employment contracts or proof of the human resources’ registration in Social Security.
VALIDATION
The Recognition is valid until the twelfth fiscal year following the year in which it was requested, as provided for in paragraph 2 of Article 37-A of Decree-Law No. 162/2014 of October 31, as currently worded, provided the conditions that gave rise to it remain in place.
