The Cut&Care project aimed to develop solutions, products, and disinfection methods for tools used in various operations within cork oak forests, with the objective of reducing the spread of diseases between trees. This innovative initiative led to the creation of Mekzol—a biocidal product for disinfecting tools and machinery used in cork stripping and pruning, enhancing the production of healthy cork.
