Problems solved
The developments carried out as part of this project have made it possible to, among other things:
• A reduction in the production process and its costs;
• Increased use of raw materials, reducing the costs associated with the need to recover raw materials resulting from machining processes.
Practical Benefits for Society:
Following the completion of 3D.Carbide, a number of benefits have been realised, such as:
• For the coordinating company, the possibility of obtaining an additively manufactured product with the same quality as that obtained by conventional means;
• For the 3D printing equipment company, the technology developed has proved to be valid, and this result will, in the future, help to leverage business in the professional and industrial segments.
