Opening of the Call
The 2024 call for EIC Transition is now open and will remain open until September 18. This financing instrument aims to foster the transition from research and development to innovation (TRL 4 to TRL 5/6).
In addition to the eligibility conditions previously established in earlier calls (EIC Pathfinder e FET Open/Proactive; ERC Proof of Concept; EDF), participation has been expanded to include projects (RIAs) from any scientific or technological area funded under societal challenges and/or leading industrial technologies within H2020 or any Pillar II cluster within Horizon Europe.
Participation is allowed on an individual or collaborative basis, with up to 5 entities (SMEs, start-ups, spin-offs, CTIs, universities, etc.). Participation may also be extended to entities that were not part of the eligible projects, provided agreements for scale-up and commercial exploitation of results with the initial consortium are safeguarded.
Only projects that have been active for more than 12 months or completed within 30 months will be considered eligible.
