Type of Support and Geographic Coverage

This notice supports operations that aim to enhance the economic valorization of R&D results (Research and Development) generated by the R&D&I system (Research and Innovation). It also seeks to reinforce the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge to the business sector in the Lisbon Region.

Based on the Priority Domains of the Regional Strategy for Intelligent Specialization – EREI 2030, the scope includes actions that enable:

  • Strengthening the economic orientation of intermediary R&D&I institutions, promoting the creation and development of new channels and formats for valuing, transferring, and disseminating knowledge to the economic sector, particularly through phases of testing and pre-commercial validation of research projects with economic valorization potential;
  • Enhancing both the quantity and quality of information directed at the business sector regarding the relevance and impact of knowledge-based innovation and collaboration between companies and R&D&I system entities;
  • Increasing the valorization, transfer, and exploration of scientific and technological knowledge, especially through the use of methodologies and appropriate tools such as intellectual property management (e.g., patents);
  • Producing and disseminating relevant information on new opportunities for knowledge valorization and transfer.

This notice applies to the NUTS II region – Lisbon. The project’s location corresponds to the region where the investment will be carried out.

Form of Support

The support provided is in the form of a non-repayable grant.
