Small Business Standards (SBS), in collaboration with ISO TC279/WG3 – innovation management tools and methods, is organising two workshops and discussion panels to explain the standardisation work being carried out by this ISO technical committee. The events are scheduled for May 21 and 23, in Brussels.
The events are scheduled for 21 and 23 May in Brussels.It is also intended with these workshops to carry out an exchange with SMEs and representatives of SMEs, to better understand their needs and ensure the development of relevant international normals for SMEs.
The ISO 56000 series of innovation management standards includes several standards, such as ISO 56002, which provides guidance on innovation management systems, ISO 56003 on innovation partnerships or ISO 56005 on tools and methods for managing intellectual property in the innovation process. A new standard, ISO 56008 on measurement of innovation operations, will be published in May 2024 and ISO 56001 Innovation Management System – Requirements is currently in the final voting phase. In addition, Working Group 3 is considering several new standards to meet market needs, for which it is looking for contributions from selected stakeholders to validate the quality and relevance of the proposed new standards.
The two workshops offer a better understanding of the work of this Technical Committee and feedback on existing proposals and future standards in this area.
ANI is the Sector Standardization Body of the Portuguese standardization system (ONS.ANI), coordinating and monitoring the operation and activities of CT 169.
