SPIN: Rise is a hybrid European entrepreneurial training and pre-incubation program that aims to support researchers and scientists in their transition from the laboratory to the market. The initiative is led by EIT Digital and implemented by Verhaert Masters in Innovation.

Part of the Evolve DualTech track, the program focuses on dual-use technologies with applications in the civil sector and in defense and security, encouraging the creation of sustainable entrepreneurial projects aligned with Europe’s strategic priorities.

Selected participants will have access to seven weeks of specialized training and mentoring, a three-day in-person bootcamp in Brussels, fully tailored support with no prior entrepreneurship experience required, and integration into a European community dedicated to leadership in technological innovation.

The program is open to researchers from all scientific fields, including doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and master’s students involved in research projects.
