On January 11, under the European Innovation Ecosystems program, will open a competition to support startups, at national or regional level, to scale their project at European level.
The initial Startup Europe is aimed at innovation ecosystems and interconnection between stakeholders and start-ups. Its purpose is to:
- Strengthen, in the global market, the presence of startups that develop digital technologies and deep-tech innovation, namely Artificial Intelligence (AI), Advanced Computing, Cybersecurity, Next Generation Internet, Blockchain, Internet of Things, Metaverse, Energy, Greentech, Agritech and Fintech;
- improving links between start-ups, including those supported by the EIT and EIC and those awarded the Seal of Excellence, European Ecosystems and new emerging markets;
- Foster its capacity for global growth by providing investment opportunities in collaboration with other initiatives such as: EIC, EIT and the Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), InvestEU, the Europa Digital and Women TechEU Programmes, public and private buyers, investors, VC’s and start-up Villages.
A clarification session will be held on January 18 at 11 am, in online format, directly with EISMEA, the entity responsible for creating and managing this opportunity.
