Applications until 30 September and 30 December
The SIID – Internationalisation of R&D – Preparation of R&D Applications to European Programmes notice is now open, designed to support SMEs and Small Mid Caps in preparing and submitting proposals to European programmes such as Horizon Europe, the Eureka Network, Digital Europe, the Coal and Steel Research Fund and the European Defence Fund.
The incentive takes the form of a non-refundable grant, with a maximum co-financing rate of up to 50 per cent, except in the Lisbon region, where the maximum rate is 40 per cent, and applies to the North, Centre, Lisbon, Alentejo and Algarve regions.
The notice has a total budget of 6.1 million euros, with applications taking place in stages:
- Phase 1: until 30 September 2025, at 5pm;
- Phase 2: until 30 December 2025, at 5pm.
Operations must be located in the region where the investment will be made.
