The European Investment Bank (EIB) is inviting European startups to participate in the first Semiconductor Pitch Day, taking place in Munich on November 13, 2024. This event offers startups an opportunity to accelerate growth in the semiconductor sector, connect with investors, and showcase their innovative technologies.
It is aimed at start-ups in the early stages and in the growth phase throughout the semiconductor value chain, based in the European Union. They must develop innovative solutions in areas including, but not limited to:
- Advanced chip design and architecture;
- Innovative materials and manufacturing processes;
- Power electronics and energy-efficient solutions;
- Quantum computing hardware;
- AI/ML chip optimization;
- IoT and edge computing solutions;
- Photonics and optical computing;
- Memory and storage innovations.
How to apply
Send your application to cfa_secretariat@eib.org by October 11, 2024 with the following information:
- Company Name and Contact Information;
- Name of founder/CEO;
- Email;
- Company Website,
- Phone Number;
- Company phase (Initial/Start-up);
- Brief description of the company (maximum 100 words);
- the current situation (clients, partnerships, milestones);
- General description of the team (main members and their experience);
- Main technology area;
- Description of your technology and your unique value proposition;
- Total number and types of financing rounds closed to date;
- Description of your technology and your unique value proposition;
- Financing obtained to date and current financing needs.

Selection process
Applications will be evaluated by a panel of EIB experts and partner organizations. Selected startups will be notified by October 30, 2024 and invited to present their pitches at the event.
Note: If no response is received by October 31, it means the application was not selected.
