EIT Urban Mobility, in partnership with BGI, Fark Labs, and Kimitisik, has launched the Urban Mobility Disruptor Entrepreneurship Program, a European initiative that aims to support researchers, academics, and early-stage innovators in transforming disruptive ideas in urban mobility into market solutions.
The program takes place in three phases:
- Bootcamp (September 23 to October 3, 2025, online) – intensive training in entrepreneurship;
- Market Discovery Journey (October-November 2025, online) – specialized mentoring sessions with industry professionals;
- Final Pitch Event (December 2025, Lisbon) – presentation of finalist projects to municipalities, companies, and investors.
Throughout this journey, participants will have access to entrepreneurial skills tailored to the academic context, opportunities for pilot projects in a real-world environment, potential sources of funding, and integration into an international innovation network.
The program is aimed at researchers, doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, professors, and academic teams working on innovative solutions to the challenges of urban mobility, engineering, sustainability, and smart cities.
