EIT InnoEnergy has opened applications for the Women2Invest programme, which aims to train and support women with a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) background who are interested in starting a career in the venture capital sector.

The initiative promotes diversity in the European investment ecosystem and gives venture capital funds access to qualified talent prepared to take on entry-level roles.

The programme includes intensive training in the fundamentals of venture capital, paid internship opportunities at partner funds and networking with industry professionals and alumni. No previous experience is necessary.

Women with an academic degree (bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate) in STEAM, who hold a passport from one of the 27 EU countries or countries associated with Horizon Europe, and who show a strong interest in the investment sector can apply.
