The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is one of the European Union’s main bodies dedicated to boosting innovation, entrepreneurship and knowledge through collaboration between companies, research centers and universities.

With a unique operating model based on Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), the EIT operates in strategic areas such as health, climate, energy, mobility, food, culture and digital technology – supporting transformative ideas, emerging talent and solutions with real impact.

A number of calls for projects, startups and researchers are currently open, with a focus on:

• Financing applied innovation;
• Acceleration and incubation programs;
• Entrepreneurial training and education;
• Collaborative projects between industry and academia.
