IPN is a private non-profit R&D entity aiming to establish a link between the scientific environment and the companies.Today it is a reference model in the promotion of an innovation, quality, and entrepreneurship culture, based on a solid university/company relationship, encouraging the incorporation of science and technology into the economy. IPN works in 3 main areas: research and technological development; consultancy and specialized services for companies; Incubation and acceleration of technology-based companies; and specialized training.
IPN sets up an integrated model that acts at all stages of the cycle of knowledge transfer and qualification of entrepreneurship, generating synergies and boosting complementarities in the areas of Wear, Test and Materials; Automation; IT,and Plant Health, including Innovation and Intellectual Property needs, culminating in the support of start-ups and spin-offs creation through its incubator (autonomously managed) and acceleration of companies
