BFK INITIATIVES INCLUDE:
BfK Ideas
BfK Ideas seeks the best business idea from each Portuguese Higher Education Institution (HEI), aiming to create products, processes, or services “born from knowledge.” All ideas have the opportunity to benefit from an immersion program and represent their institution in a national competition.
The contest rewards business ideas from students and researchers from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) that result from R&D activities or the scientific and/or technological knowledge of their promoters.
BfK Rise
BfK Rise is a Science and Technology Acceleration Program aimed at enhancing the value of the results of Research & Development (R&D) and existing technologies within the National Scientific and Technological System (SCTN) with commercialization potential.
Over three months, BfK Rise offers intensive support and capacity-building to teams with science and technology-based projects.
BfK Awards
BfK Awards recognize projects and companies “born from knowledge” that stand out in Research & Development (R&D) activities, particularly collaborative ones. This distinction is awarded by the National Innovation Agency (ANI) in some of the most prestigious innovation contests and/or awards in Portugal.
