Recognition of innovative projects at the University of Coimbra

For the second year running, ANI took part as a jury in the 6th edition of the Seed Projects Awards for Interdisciplinary Research (SeedProjects@UC), promoted by the University of Coimbra (UC). The awards ceremony took place on March 6th and also marked five years of implementation of this initiative.

The program, developed with the support of the UC Strategic Areas Center (NAE), the Interdisciplinary Research Institute (IIIUC) and the Santander Portugal Foundation, aims to support young researchers in the creation and implementation of their scientific projects and to foster interdisciplinary research.

With total funding of 100,000 euros, SeedProjects@UC supports five projects, one in each of the UC’s strategic areas, aligned with the priorities of Horizon Europe. ANI was part of the jury in the “Heritage, Culture and Inclusive Society” category, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing scientific research and promoting interdisciplinarity.
