ANI has launched the first call for proposals for the new Startup Competitiveness Incentive Scheme, part of the Deep2Start Programme and financed by the FITEC fund. With an allocation of 3.5 million euros, this mechanism is aimed exclusively at startups that have been approved in the first phase of the EIC Accelerator, promoting disruptive innovation and the internationalisation of national technology-based companies.
Notice ANI-2025-01 includes the award of two vouchers. The Go to EIC Accelerator Voucher, worth 10,000 euros, aims to support the preparation of the application for Phase 2 of the EIC Accelerator. The Deep Tech Voucher, with funding of 60,000 euros, aims to accelerate the technological progress of startups, strengthening their competitiveness and facilitating access to demanding markets.
These non-repayable grants are part of an incentive system that promotes the sustainable growth and technological maturation of Portuguese startups. The initiative is part of the Accelerate the Economy Programme, launched by the government, and is in line with European guidelines for innovation, through the EIC Accelerator, the European Innovation Council’s programme with a budget of 10 billion euros to support disruptive Deep Tech projects.
