Applications open until 15th September

ANI is the new partner in the 4th edition of the IN3+ Award, an initiative of the Portuguese Mint and Official Printing Office (INCM) to support the creation and development of new national and international projects.

The IN3+ Award, considered one of the biggest prizes for supporting and promoting research and innovation in Portugal, has €1M (million euros) of support for selected projects that fall into one of the 5 categories planned for this edition: “Nanotechnology”, “Advanced Information Systems”, “Robotics”, “Automation” and “Production Technology and Advanced Materials”.

Projects will be assessed and selected according to:

a) Creativity and innovation – Originality of the idea, differentiation from the target market and progress in relation to the state of the art;

b) Potential of the identified opportunity – Potential market size, existing competition, existence of barriers to new players, potential for growth and integration into the value chain, potential for internationalisation, potential for affirmation of the INCM brand.

Investigators, entrepreneurs, research centres, universities and national and international companies or startups that are part of the INCM Innovation Network can submit their applications here.

This 4th edition of the IN3+ Prize is sponsored by the Presidency of the Republic.

Online session on the IN3+ Award

A session was held on 19 July at 3.30pm, in digital format, with the aim of debating and clarifying Portugal Inovador: Prémio IN3+| Um milhão para a Inovação. The session lasted 45 minutes and was attended by representatives of the IN3+ Prize organisation.
