The BPI and Medialivre, under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and with the support of PwC, are promoting the 13th Edition of the National Agriculture Award, which aims to recognize and reward farmers and companies excelling in the agricultural sector in Portugal. Applications are open until 31 October.

The award seeks to highlight conscious production practices that prioritize environmental conservation, combined with advanced technology and innovative agricultural units, ensuring a prosperous and sustainable future for the sector in Portugal. This year’s edition will focus on two main pillars: Sustainability and Innovation, promoting smarter and greener practices for the future of Portuguese agriculture.

Maria João Fernandes, National Delegate for the Horizon Europe Program at the Agência Nacional de Inovação (ANI), is one of the 10 jurors participating in this prestigious event.
