On October 8, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (CEST), a webinar will be held on Smart Specialization Strategies and Transformative Innovation Policies, with a focus on interregional collaboration. The event will bring together experts in innovation and regional development to discuss how strategic policies can drive positive changes in the economy, society and the environment, based on regional characteristics and strengths.
The event will feature speakers Tatiana Fernandez Sirera, Head of Economic Promotion at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Government of Catalonia, and Slavo Radosevic, Professor of Industry and Innovation Studies at University College London. They will present the role of smart specialization in sustainable growth, best practices for policymakers and success stories of interregional collaborations.
The webinar is part of the ERA_FABRIC project, which seeks to facilitate a more integrated innovation network based on common compliance criteria, boosting economic, social and environmental development across Europe by creating a collaborative environment between innovation ecosystems and promoting the exchange of knowledge and good practices.
Organized by Zoom, the event promises to offer an in-depth look at how innovation can be a catalyst for sustainable development.
