The European Enterprise Network (EEN) is organizing a session on the Chips Joint Undertaking, scheduled for September 11 at 10:30 AM (Lisbon Time). This initiative provides multiple funding lines and support levels for research and innovation in the semiconductor sector in Europe, including calls targeted at Competence Centers and Pilot Lines.
This webinar offers an opportunity to gain insights and clarifications about the EU Chips Act, addressing its complexity, open challenges, and how to access available opportunities.
The information session will be in English and will cover the following topics:
- Calls for Proposals: Initiative and non-initiative calls, and key objectives such as creating new platforms, collaborations, and semiconductor technologies.
- What is the initiative project supposed to create (e.g. new platforms, new collaborations, new semiconductor technologies)?
- What kind of services does the project offer and how can SMEs benefit from them?
- How to participate in consortia?
- How can I establish direct contact with the person in charge of the national funding authority in each country?
- How can you best prepare for upcoming invitations and activities?
- Potential collaboration and co-organization for network partners of common brokerage events.
