In question the eRDT IPLEMEXED, project that won the Born from Knowledge (BFK) Awards, awarded on Tuesday by ANI, under the Altice International Innovation Award.
In a statement, the ANI reports that that project allows to make at home and in just 20 minutes the diagnosis of respiratory diseases, which until now took between two and seven days and was done in a hospital context.
Developed by IPLEXMED, a start-up in Braga with partners such as the University of Minho and the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, the solution presents a platform for non-invasive diagnosis of clinical respiratory infections in the home.
