The European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s (EIT) Strategic Innovation Agenda proposes the launch of a new Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) focused on water, marine, and maritime sectors and ecosystems in 2026.
The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), in collaboration with the STOA panel of the European Parliament, has initiated a survey to gather insights on this topic.
The survey will contribute to a report on how this future KIC can significantly promote sustainable innovation, value creation, and enhance the quality of life for European citizens. NTNU seeks feedback from key stakeholders through this brief survey.
The survey is open until February 26, 23:59 CET. Access the survey here.
The ERRIN Blue Economy Working Group is closely monitoring the development of this new KIC.
On February 5, over 60 members of ERRIN were briefed on the KIC’s requirements and potential benefits.
