Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) are one-stop shops designed to support the development of new products and services, as well as assist SMEs and Public Administration in adopting digital solutions.
They provide the following core services:
- Test Before Investing: Experiment with solutions to validate their applicability to your business.
- Digital Training: Empower SMEs, start-ups, and public administration at both leadership and employee levels.
- Foster Relationships: Access a network of national and international partners.
- Financing Support: Identify funding opportunities and facilitate their acquisition.
- Incubation Support: Provide resources for entrepreneurship acceleration, start-up incubation, and growth.
The Digital Innovation Hubs are part of a national network made up of 17 selected hubs, 3 of which belong to the European network (EDIH) and 13 of which have received the European seal of excellence. They are focused on Artificial Intelligence, High Performance Computing and Cybersecurity and have applications in various sectors such as Industry, Tourism, Culture, Agri-food, Circular Economy, Sea, Vehicles, Health, etc.
This measure has an allocation of 60 million euros from Component C16 – Companies 4.0 of the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan and aims to provide services to 4,000 entities by the end of 2025. ANI has been the Managing Entity of the National Network of Digital Innovation Hubs since January 2024, and IAPMEI is the Intermediary Beneficiary.
