November 22, 30, and December 2, hybrid format

The European Commission, in coordination with Member States, is organizing three workshops dedicated to the European Chips Act. These sessions aim to outline and develop proposals for SMEs, discuss the next steps in establishing semiconductor competence centers, and foster capacity building in microelectronics and semiconductors across Europe.

The first session, on November 22, will focus on the funding opportunities of the design platform, a virtual environment to be shared throughout the European Union, accessible, non-discriminatory, and transparent, encouraging broad collaboration among users and key ecosystem actors and reinforcing Europe’s design capacity. Additionally, the opportunities provided by the Chips Fund will be explored.

The Chips Fund will provide financial support to start-ups and SMEs through products launched by the European Innovation Council and the EIB Group.

Participation is in digital format and limited, requiring mandatory registration.
