The Rio Neiva Environmental Defense Association is promoting the “Rural Placemaking – New European Bauhaus” Seminar. The event will take place on November 25 and 26 at the premises of the Rio Neiva Association in Esposende.

The aim of the seminar is to explore and raise awareness of the logic of micro and small-scale placemaking, in line with the values of the New European Bauhaus program: sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion.

At a time when the new territorial development strategies and their respective funding frameworks are beginning to be drawn up, local-scale approaches have been given special prominence, and this initiative aims to help train the various territorial players in new participatory logics, following their ecological, social and cultural principles.
