ReUse by ANI is a pilot project that aims to reuse used tarpaulins from National Innovation Agency events and create recycled materials in conjunction with social and environmental associations such as Cais Recicla.
Cais Recicla is a recycling workshop made up of people who are in a situation of extreme social vulnerability, such as homeless citizens, who find a space there to work on social, personal and creative skills, with the aim of reintegrating them into society. Using materials that would otherwise end up in landfill, they create customised stationery for each partner. Items that combine resistance and functionality with quality craftsmanship and artistry.
The tarpaulins used at ANI events were made available to Cais Recicla, which in turn turned them into lanyards for future National Innovation Agency events. Through this partnership, ANI is promoting social innovation and the circular economy by upcycling materials that were once discarded, contributing to a more inclusive society and a more sustainable environment.
