Strategic planning for 2025-2027 with 360 million euros

The European Commission has published the Roadmap for the implementation of the NEB Facility 2025-2027, an important milestone for the New European Bauhaus (NEB). This is the first multi-annual financial tool dedicated to NEB, with a total budget of 360 million euros from Horizon Europe, complemented by investments from other European Union programmes, as well as national and private funding.

The main objective of the NEB Facility is to make European neighbourhoods more sustainable and inclusive by promoting urban revitalisation, innovative solutions for affordable housing and a sustainable and regenerative construction ecosystem. The Roadmap also defines strategies to foster social cohesion and well-being through research and innovation.

At the same time, the European Commission released its analysis of the 2024 public consultation on the NEB Facility, which received more than 300 contributions from across Europe. The responses identified specific needs and innovative ideas for transforming neighbourhoods, highlighting that the objectives of the NEB Facility are aligned with the expectations of local stakeholders.
