Test Beds provide infrastructure, equipment, and expertise to companies for testing products and services with a strong digital component.
These testing and experimentation services, mainly aimed at startups and SMEs, are carried out in a physical or virtual space, with the aim of increasing technological maturity and the number of pilot products and services developed by companies.
There are currently 47 Test Beds selected, testing applications in various sectors such as Industry, ICT, Health, Biotechnology, Energy, Environment, Mobility, Smart Cities, Communications, etc.
This measure has an allocation of 150 million euros from Component C16 – Companies 4.0 of the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan and aims to test 3,000 pilot products by the end of 2025. ANI has been the Managing Entity of the National Network of Test Beds since January 2024, with IAPMEI being the Intermediary Beneficiary.
