Portugal has raised 73.4 million euros in the Horizon Europe programme, through 152 entities, to finance 124 research and development (R&D) projects in various areas, according to a report announced on Tuesday.
In total, the Portuguese entities presented more than 700 proposals, of which 124 were approved, with an average success rate of 17.6%, higher than the European average of 14.8%, the National Innovation Agency said in a statement.
