The Innowwide program, part of the Eureka Network and funded under the European Innovative SMEs Partnership
Supports European SMEs aiming to compete in global markets by providing up to €60,000 for market feasibility studies. These studies are carried out by subcontracting local partners in third countries.
In the 2nd Innowwide call, Portugal more than doubled the number of applications and tripled the number of proposals recommended for funding. Out of a total of 70 proposals, 4 projects were funded, and 2 were placed on the reserve list, compared to only 2 funded applications in the first call.
The projects recommended for funding are focused on the life sciences, ICT and agri-food sectors, targeting diverse business destination markets such as Australia, Angola, Canada, Brazil, South Africa and the USA.
This initiative is tailored for innovative SMEs seeking to:
Develop new products, processes, or services for strategic markets outside the European Union and Horizon Europe-associated countries.
Assess their technical, commercial, legal, and socioeconomic feasibility in these markets.
The 3rd Innowwide call is scheduled to open in September 2024 and close in November 2024.
