PORTUGAL AND LUXEMBOURG SCHEDULE SECOND BUSINESS FORUM TO EXPLORE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND COOPERATION

5.Aug.2024

On November 5 and 6, 2024, the Portugal-Luxembourg Business Forum will be held in Luxembourg, organized by AICEP – Agência para o Investimento e Comércio Externo de Portugal, Chambre de Commerce du Luxembourg, in collaboration with the Portuguese Embassy in Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Embassy in Portugal.

This initiative builds upon previous efforts to strengthen Portugal-Luxembourg economic relations, including the 2022 economic mission and Portugal’s participation as the guest country in the Luxembourg Internet Days 2023, a major annual event dedicated to information and communication technologies.

The Portugal-Luxembourg Business Forum will focus on three key sectors/areas: Sustainable Construction (Architecture, Engineering, Building and Construction Materials), Digital Technologies (Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, Fintech, Mobility and Connectivity, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Virtual Reality) and Health Technologies (E-Health). Business, investment and cooperation opportunities between companies and organizations from both countries will be explored.

On November 5, the program will include sectoral workshops and B2B networking sessions between Portuguese and Luxembourg companies at the Chambre de Commerce du Luxembourg. On November 6, there will be a series of visits to the premises of relevant Luxembourg companies and entities in each of the Business Forum’s key sectors. These initiatives will be prepared by AICEP and the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.

The Forum is aimed at Portuguese companies and entities (clusters, business associations, R&D centers, universities, among others) working in the Sustainable Construction, Digital Technologies and Health Technologies sectors.
