Eurostat is promoting the third round of the European Statistics Awards Programme, focusing on international trade in goods. Applications are open until October 30.
The contests will focus on forecasting three key indicators: Extra-EU Imports, Extra-EU Exports, and Intra-EU Exports. Teams of 1 to 5 members will have the opportunity to apply their nowcasting expertise to a real-life case and win up to €10,000: €3,000 for accuracy, €2,000 for innovation, and €5,000 for reuse. Second and third-place winners will also receive prizes.
