The notice for the funding of Demonstration Projects in the Individual Modality has been published, applicable across all NUTS II regions in mainland Portugal (North, Center, Lisbon, Alentejo, and Algarve).
The funding supports individual Demonstration Projects aligned with the priority domains of the Research and Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization (RIS3). These projects should build on successfully concluded R&D activities, aiming for the industrial validation of knowledge associated with new technologies. The objective is to demonstrate, to a specialized audience and in real-world conditions, the economic advantages and to disseminate the new technology intended for adoption. Projects in clinical/biomedical research at advanced development stages, including Phase I and/or II clinical trials, are also eligible. For more information, click here.
Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and Small Mid Cap companies, of any nature and legal form, that meet the eligibility requirements set out in Article 14 of Decree-Law No. 20-A/2023 of March 22 (which defines the general application regime of Portugal 2030 and respective Funds), and Article 46 of the Specific Regulation for Innovation and Digital Transition (REITD), are invited to apply.
The application period is open until December 30, 2024, with analysis and decisions made in two phases. The application form will be available on July 12.
