NEB Facility, the first multi-annual support instrument for the New European Bauhaus (NEB) European initiative, consult ANI.
The NEB Facility is divided into two components: the roll-out component and the Research and Innovation (R&I) component. The roll-out component builds on the work developed under NEB since its inception, covering all NEB-related activities that do not involve research and innovation. This component aims to be implemented through synergies with various European programs and potentially mobilize additional investments.
The R&I component, anchored and funded by Horizon Europe, has an estimated budget of €120 million per year for 2025-2027. This component broadly focuses on the built environment, neighborhoods (urban and rural areas), and the construction sector. The R&I component is further divided into three major areas of intervention:
- Linking green transformation, social inclusion, and local democracy;
- Regenerative and circular approaches to the built environment;
- New and innovative financing and business models.
You can contribute to both components of the NEB Facility by identifying priorities, pressing themes and needs, implementation ideas, and more through a questionnaire launched by the European Commission. Contribute here by September 17.
