The European Commission, within the framework of Horizon Europe Cluster 6, has allocated an additional 21.7 million euros (M€) to 73 national entities to develop innovative projects on Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment.
Since the beginning of this year, Portugal has submitted 179 applications to Cluster 6 of which 38 were approved, representing an approval rate of 22.3%, in line with the European average. The €21.7 million raised in 2022 accounts for about 3.4% of the total funding available.
