N9VE, a startup from Aveiro, has developed a disruptive, scalable, and innovative technology to recover rare earth elements from electronic waste using macroalgae. This groundbreaking solution earned the company the Born from Knowledge (BfK) Award, granted by the National Innovation Agency as part of the Empreendedor XXI Awards.
