In this regard, ANI provides a transparent Misconduct Reporting Channel managed by an external and independent entity, which guarantees the protection of the whistleblower’s identity and offers various communication options, including the possibility of submitting completely anonymous and protected reports.
This complies with the rules set out in the Misconduct Reporting Channel Protection Regime (Law No. 93/2021, of December 20), which transposed Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of October 23, 2019. This law prohibits retaliation against whistleblowers, among other guarantees.
