The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation, in partnership with EEN Japan, is organizing a matchmaking event at the Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair in Japan. This event targets EU-based companies and their Asian subsidiaries with sustainable solutions in energy management, waste and resource management, or project consultancy for Southeast Asia.
The mission is not aimed at companies wishing to export to Japan, but rather at companies wishing to join forces with Japanese partners to do business in Southeast Asia (mainly Cambodia and the Philippines).
The deadline for applications is September 17, after which five EU companies will be selected to meet with Japanese companies and representatives from the Philippines and Cambodia. It will be an opportunity to discuss joint EU-Japan projects in these two Asian countries, from November 13 to 15, 2024.
Companies must operate in the following areas:
– Resource management and recycling
– Waste management
– Circular economy
– Renewable energy
– Environmental solutions
– Water treatment and management
– Other green solutions
– Project consultancy in the above domains for Southeast Asia
– Project management in Southeast Asia
The EU-Japan Center will cover all costs directly related to the mission: the stand at the trade fair, partnership activities, the company visit, among others. The participating company will be responsible for travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.
