In September 2020, the European Commission adopted a communication titled “A New ERA for Research and Innovation,” outlining a renewed vision for a stronger European Research Area (ERA) based on four priorities:
- Prioritizing investments and reforms;
- Enhancing access to excellence;
- Bridging R&I results to the economy;
- Deepening the ERA.
Four years later, a new communication will be published to assess progress in these areas and identify the remaining challenges.
In this context, the European Commission invites all stakeholders to provide their input, particularly on the achievements to date and the challenges that persist, helping to shape the foundation for future action.
The public consultation is open until the end of the day on September 30 (Brussels time).
