The European Commission has released an updated version of the 2023-24 Horizon Europe Work Programme, allocating previously unassigned funds.
The revised programme increases the 2024 budget by nearly €1.4 billion, reaching a total of €7.3 billion.
From this communication we highlight some points of interest to the community:
- An investment of 648 million euros for the EU’s five missions;
- €20 million to prepare for the implementation of the New European Bauhaus (NEB);
- 48 million euros for the digitization of the Cultural Heritage sector (European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage);
- An investment of 50 million euros for the European partnership dedicated to Pandemic Preparedness and Response.
- Lastly, the various Clusters of Pillar 2 will include new calls in 2024. For more details about these new calls, please refer to the Work Programme for each Cluster available on the Funding and Tenders Portal.
