Under the European Innovation Ecosystems (EIE) programme of Horizon Europe (HE), a call for tender is open under the theme “Special Advisory Services to build capacities on Innovation Procurement”in order to strengthen skills in public procurement innovation and promote collaboration between the various actors involved in this area. Applications run until September 21.

This call aims to contribute to strengthening the skills of public entities with innovation acquisition processes, as well as to establish long-term sustainable strategies in this area and stimulate collaboration with SMEs (including startups)incubators, accelerators and research institutions. Collaboration between public and private partners is encouraged, notably through co-design and identification of existing technologies that may result in innovation acquisitions.

This is an unmissable opportunity to foster innovation in the public sector and contribute to the development of sustainable long-term innovation acquisition strategies.

The EIE programme, part of Pillar III of Horizon Europe, focuses on creating an interconnected and inclusive innovation ecosystem that encompasses European, national, regional and local initiatives as well as sub-regional actors and territoriesinnovation capacity of ecosystems and supporting the expansion of companies, as set out in the New European Innovation Agenda. The 2023-2024 calls are already all set.
