The Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking (EU-RAIL JU) partnership, dedicated to R&I in the railway area, launched its 2023 tender. The tender has a budget of approximately 21.2 million euros for projects under EU-RAIL Destination 1, dedicated to the planning and control of network and mobility management in a multimodal environment and digital facilitators, as well as EU-RAIL Destination 8, dedicated to exploratory research and other activities.
Applications will be accepted until 7 February 2024 at 17:00 CET. With this competition, EU-RAIL aims to create synergies with the SESAR 3 partnership by promoting a backbone of the integrated air and rail network for a sustainable and energy efficient multimodal transport system in Europe.
A platform for networking was launched, where skills can be published and topics of interest can be identified to find partners.
